MADE IN FRANCE

ALL CÉMOI CHOCOLATES ARE MANUFACTURED IN HEXAGON, IN THE MOST PURE FRENCH TRADITION.

Chocolate was first introduced in France in the 1600’s. In the 400 years since, the world has come to recognize France for its exquisite, gourmet chocolate. It is a symbol of our culture’s appreciation for epicurean luxuries and culinary excellence.

200 years of French chocolate

In 1814, Jules Pares built the first chocolate factory in France. From these humble beginnings, the CEMOI Group, the first French Chocolatier, was born. Our company, now in its 3rd generation as a family-run business, has since grown into the largest and leading chocolate brand in France, with more than 2,350 employees from Perpignan to Villeneuve-d’Ascq. Our rich history, nurtured in the French culture of fine foods, means we understand what it takes to create and develop nuanced, exceptional chocolate.
